Abstract: Berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi di kelas IV SD menunjukkan salah satu perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan yaitu LKPD masih sederhana dan hanya berisi pertanyaan yang membuat peserta didik merasa bosan. Sehingga berdampak terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan capaian hasil belajar yang kurang maksimal. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengembangan LKPD yang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKPD berbentuk komik untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall dengan tiga tahap utama yaitu studi pendahuluan, desain dan pengembangan, serta pengujian. Teknik analisis data untuk mengukur kelayakan produk melalui angket ahli materi dan ahli media. Untuk mengukur kepraktisan produk melalui respon peserta didik dan respon guru. Sementara untuk mengukur keefektifan produk melalui penilaian pretest dan posttest. Uji kelayakan produk ahli materi diperoleh nilai rata-rata 96,92% dengan kategori sangat layak dan penilaian ahli media memperoleh rata-rata 97,77% dengan kategori sangat layak. Tingkat kepraktisan produk menunjukkan skor rata-rata 88,39% termasuk kategori praktis. Kemudian pada uji t diketahui nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, artinya terdapat perbedaan pretest dan posttest hasil belajar. Hasil pengembangan LKPD Berbentuk Komik Materi Perubahan Wujud Zat untuk Kelas IV SD menunjukkan bahwa LKPD ini layak, efektif, dan praktis untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar peserta didik. LKPD ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar di kelas, khususnya untuk materi perubahan wujud zat.
Based on interviews and observations in the fourth grade of elementary school, it was found that one of the learning tools used, the LKPD, was still simple and only contained questions that made students feel bored. This impacted their critical thinking skills and learning outcomes, which were less than optimal. Therefore, there was a need to develop a more engaging LKPD. This research aimed to develop a comic-shaped LKPD to enhance critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Borg and Gall development model, which included three main stages: preliminary study, design and development, and testing. Data analysis techniques to measure product feasibility included questionnaires for material experts and media experts. To measure the practicality of the product, responses from students and teachers were used. Meanwhile, to measure the effectiveness of the product, pretest and posttest assessments were conducted. The product feasibility test from material experts yielded an average score of 96.92% in the very feasible category, and the media experts' assessment averaged 97.77%, also in the very feasible category. The practicality level of the product showed an average score of 88.39%, categorized as practical. The t-test revealed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results learning outcomes. The development results of the comic-shaped LKPD on the topic of Matter State Changes for fourth grade students showed that this LKPD was feasible, effective, and practical for improving students' critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. This LKPD could be used as an alternative teaching material in the classroom, especially for the topic of matter state changes.
