Improving students' skills in writing affixing words is influenced by the learning model provided. Therefore, an appropriate learning model is really needed so that students are more enthusiastic in the learning process. There are various kinds of learning models applied in the learning process, such as the CIRC and Scramble learning models. This research aims to determine the differences between the CIRC and Scramble learning models on the skills of writing affixed words for grade 4 students at SD Negeri Gugus Sultan Agung. The type of research applied in this research is an experimental research design. The design used is NonequValent Control Group Design with a one-group posttest design. Posttest results, the control class got an average of 68.57 and the experimental class got an average of 72.67. Normality results were obtained from the posttest with a Sig value. amounted to 0.172 in the control class, while in the experimental class, the posttest with a Sig. of 0.066. The significance value for the two classes obtained > 0.05. The t test results for the control class and experimental class are 0.000. Due to the significance result of 0.000<0.005, it can be stated that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a significant difference in the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) and Scramble learning models to the skills of writing affixed words in grade 4 students at Gugus Sultan Agung Elementary School |
