Abstract: This study investigates which classroom activities resonate most with adult English learners at Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Anugerah Alianse Semarang (STTAAS). It aims to identify the most engaging, relevant, and effective activities for their learning journey. The study used a mixed-methods approach with questionnaires and interviews to gather data on student preferences. Analysis revealed group discussions as the most preferred activity, followed by peer feedback, while peer feedback provided valuable improvement opportunities. Roleplay, however, faced challenges with script preparation, proficiency gaps, and class size limitations. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding adult learners' preferences for classroom activities. Findings suggest group discussions and peer feedback are effective, while roleplay requires adjustments for script preparation, proficiency levels, and class size. These findings have significant implications for teaching English at STTAAS and beyond, highlighting the need for student-centered and engaging activities that cater to adult learners' unique needs and preference.
