Abstract: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya permasalahan yang menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar setelah menerapkan model Problem Based Learning berbantu media konkret pada mata pelajaran matematika. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Dukuh 05 Salatiga yang berjumlah 20 siswa 11 laki-laki dan 9 perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Satu siklus dua kali pertemuan jadi jika dua siklus maka dilakukan empat kali pertemuan, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat langkah, yaitu Rencana, Pelaksanaan, Observasi, Refleksi dan pengambilan keputusan tindakan selanjutnya, dianalisis dengan menggunakan cara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dan non tes. Teknik tes yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes tertulis berupa soal pilihan ganda. Teknik non tes yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model Problem Based Learning berbantu media konkret sebelum tindakan hasil belajar pada pra siklus dengan persentase 40% atau 8 siswa yang tuntas dan memperoleh rata-rata 59, kemudian diterapkannya model problem based learning berbantu media konkret meningkat pada siklus I dengan persentase 60% atau 12 siswa yang tuntas dan memperoleh rata-rata 76. Meningkat lagi pada siklus II dengan persentase 85% atau 15 siswa yang tuntas dan memperoleh rata-rata 89. Dilihat dari hasil penelitian dan peningkatan nilai rata-rata pada setiap siklus maka dapat disimpulkan dengan penerapan model Problem Based Learning berbantu media konkret pada pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Dukuh 05 Salatiga dengan ini diharapkan untuk kepala sekolah, guru dan peneliti lain untuk dapat mengembangkan dan melanjutkan kembali penelitian yang telah dilakukan sehingga memperoleh hasil yang lebih maksimal. This research is motivated by problems that indicate low student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in learning outcomes after applying the Problem Based Learning model assisted by concrete media in mathematics subjects. The subjects of this research were class IV students at SD Negeri Dukuh 05 Salatiga, totaling 20 students, 11 boys and 9 girls. This type of research is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. One cycle has two meetings, so if there are two cycles then four meetings are held, each cycle consists of four steps, namely Planning, Implementation, Observation, Reflection and decision making for the next action, analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques include tests and non-tests. The test technique used in this research is a written test in the form of multiple choice questions. The non-test techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the use of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by concrete media before the action of learning results in the pre-cycle with a percentage of 40% or 8 students who completed and obtained an average of 59, then the application of the problem based learning model assisted by concrete media increased in the first cycle with a percentage 60% or 12 students completed and obtained an average of 76. It increased again in cycle II with a percentage of 85% or 15 students who completed and obtained an average of 89. Judging from the research results and the increase in the average score in each cycle, it can be seen It can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by concrete media in mathematics learning can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Dukuh 05 Salatiga. It is hoped that school principals, teachers and other researchers will be able to develop and continue the research that has been carried out so as to obtain good results. maximum |
