Abstract: Sexual abuse of girls is a complex and damaging issue as it can have a long-term impact on their mental health. This study aims to explore the traumatic effects experienced by child victims of sexual abuse, focusing on symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Through qualitative research methods and library research, thematic analysis of the research data showed that these children experienced several PTSD symptoms that impacted various aspects of their lives, including sleep disturbances, flashbacks, anxiety, and social withdrawal. By exploring how the symptoms and traumatic effects of PTSD can be applied in the creation of short story with themes of sexual abuse and mental illness, with the aim of inspiring transformation and healing. The results highlight the importance of early identification and appropriate interventions to help children cope with the traumatic impact they experience. The clinical implications of this study support the need for a holistic approach to treating child victims of sexual abuse, taking into account their psychological and social aspects.
