Abstract: Perawat berperan penting memberikan pelayanan kesehatan terbaik pada pasien rumah sakit sesuai standar kerja, namun beban kerja berat berdampak pada penurunan kesejahteraan mental mereka. Flourishing merupakan keadaan kesejahteraan mental individu untuk mampu menghadapi tantangan dan mencapai tujuan hidup. Sedangkan self- compassion adalah perilaku pemahaman terhadap keadaan diri tanpa menyalahkan diri sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dengan flourishing pada perawat di RSUD Salatiga. Alat ukur terpakai ialah PERMA profiler flourishing scale dan Self Compassion Scale Short Form (SCS-SF). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif berdasarkan desain korelasional dengan metode purposive sampling. Partisipan penelitian sebanyak 131 perawat dengan pengalaman kerja 2 tahun di RSUD Salatiga. Data diolah menggunakan teknik statistika analisis korelasi Product Moment dengan SPSS 25 for Windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0.266 dengan signifikansi p = 0.002 (p<0.05), artinya terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara self-compassion dengan flourishing pada perawat di RSUD Salatiga. Sumbangan efektif kedua variabel ditemukan sebesar 7.1%. Implikasi hasil penelitian yakni dapat berdampak positif pada kualitas dan profesionalitas perawatan pasien para perawat di RSUD Salatiga.
Nurses have a crucial role in delivering optimal healthcare services to patients at home in line with professional standards. However, the heavy workload they face can impact their mental well-being. Flourishing represents a state of positive mental development enabling individuals to tackle challenges, foster strong interpersonal relationships, and achieve life goals. Conversely, self-compassion entails understanding oneself without self-blame, thereby promoting mental well-being. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-compassion and flourishing among nurses at RSUD Salatiga. The measurement instrument used is the PERMA Profiler Flourishing Scale and the Self-Compassion Scale Short Form (SCS-SF). This study used a quantitative research method based on a correlational design with purposive sampling. The research participants consist of 131 nurses with a two-year work experience at RSUD Salatiga. The data is processed using product moment correlation analysis with SPSS 25 for Windows. The results of the data analysis show a coefficient correlation r = 0.266 with a p-significance of 0.002 (p<0.05), indicating a significant and positive influence between self-compassion and flourishing among nurses at RSUD Salatiga. The effective contribution at two variables is 7.1%. The implications of the research results are for positive impact on caregiving practices and professionalism of nurses at RSUD Salatiga.
