Abstract: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh berkembangnya usaha sarang burung walet di Kabupaten Malinau. Usaha sarang burung walet meaipakan sal ah satu usaha yang mempunyai prospek cerah untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia pada saat ini. Hal tersebut didukung oleh kondisi lingkungan dan geografis yang sesuai serta sumber daya yang tersedia untuk mendukung kehidupan burung walet yang dapat ditemukan pada beberapa daerah tertentu di Indonesia. Sarang burung walet merupakan usaha pilihan untuk menambah penghasilan dan menjadi usaha yang meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial usaha sarang burung walet di Kecamatan Malinau Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode survei. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara sengaja yaitu di Kecamatan Malinau Barat. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 30 responden pengusaha sarang burung walet. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kelayakan inansial dengan kriteia, yaitu: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate ofReturn (HRR)9Gwss Beneit Cost Ratio (Gross B/C),Net Beneit Cost Ratio (Net B/C),PayBack Period (PP) dan Analisis Sensitivitas, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan discount Factor 8 % menunjukkan NPV Rp. 65.780.733,-; 1RR sebesar 24,19%; Gross B/C sebesar 1,18; Net B/C yang didapat sebesar 1 ,60; dan Payback Period sebesar 2,01. Nilai Analisis Sensitivitas menunjukkan usaha sarang burung walet memiliki kemampuan usaha yang cukup kuat untuk bertahan. NPV terendah Rp. 13.226.938,-; IRR terendah 11,51%; Gross B/C terendah 1,03; Net B/C Ratio terendah 1,12; Payback Period tertinggi adalah 2,45
This research is motivated by the development of the swallow nest business in the Malinau Regency. Swallow's nest business is one ofthe businesses that have bright prospects to be developed in Indonesia at this time. This is supported by suitable environmental and geographical conditions as well as the available resources to support swallow birdlife which can befound in certain areas in Indonesia. Swallow ' s Nest is a business ofchoice to increase income and become a business that improves the economy of the surrounding community. This study aims to analyze theinancialfeasibility ofa swallow f s nest business in the West Malinau District. The method used in this research is a survey method. The research location was chosen deliberately, namely in the West Malinau District. The number of samples used is as many as 30 respondents of swallow ' s nest entrepreneurs. This study uses a inancialfeasibility analysis with criteria, namely: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR),Gross Beneit-Cost Ratio (Gross B/C),Net Beneit-Cost Ratio (Net B/C), PayBack Period. (PP) and Sensitivity Analysis. The results showed the discount factor of8% showed the NPV of Rp. 65.780.733, -,. IRR of 24,19%; Gross B C of 1,18; Net B/C obtained was 1,60; and Payback period of 0.2,01. The value of the Sensitivity Analysis shows that the swallow nest business has a strong enough business ability to survive. The lowest NPV is Rp. 13.226.938, The lowest IRR is 11,51%; Lowest Gross B/C 1,03; The lowest Net B/C Ratio is 1,12; The highest payback period is 2.45
