Abstract: | Di tahun 2020 an, cerita rakyat sudah tidak banyak dikenal oleh orang. Banyaknya hiburan yang ada di internet telah menggantikan hiburan orang orang di zaman dulu. Game “Ink Journeys” merupakan game yang dibuat di penelitian ini dengan membawakan cerita rakyat sebagai cerita di dalam game. Game ini berfokus pada karakter utama yang dapat masuk ke dalam buku yang berisi kumpulan cerita rakyat di indonesia. Penelitian diawali dengan pengumpulan cerita rakyat yang beredar di internet, lalu disesuaikan dengan cerita utama pada game. Penelitian ini mengembangkan metode penerapan Finite State Machine. berbeda dari penelitian sebelumnya, Finite State Machine diimplementasikan bukan hanya di dialog karakter dan objek saja, melainkan menerapkan Finite State Machine pada area map juga. Dengan metode Finite State Machine pembuat game akan lebih terstruktur dan terarah saat membuat program dalam game. Sedangkan untuk pemainnya, pemain akan bertemu dengan pilihan pilihan yang akan berpengaruh pada cerita di dalam game. game ini hanya dapat dimainkan di Android dan baru memiliki satu cerita rakyat yang diadaptasikan ke dalam game. In the 2020s, folklore is no longer widely recognized by people. The amount of entertainment on the internet has replaced people's entertainment in the past. The game “Ink Journeys” is a game made in this research by bringing folklore as a story in the game. This game focuses on the main character who can enter a book containing a collection of folklore in Indonesia. The research begins with the collection of folklore circulating on the internet, then adjusted to the main story in the game. Different from previous studi, the Finite State Machine is implemented not only in character and object dialogs but applies Finite State Machine to the map area as well. With the Finite State Machine method, game makers will be more structured and directed when creating in-game programs. As for the player, the player will meet with a choice of choices that will affect the story of the game. this game can only be played on Android and only has one folklore adapted into the game. |
