Research on parent involvement on children's learning development has been carried out many times. However, the role of grandparents is rarely done by researchers. In Indonesia, it is common to see grandparents to have a role in supporting the fostering of a child while the parents are busy at work. Therefore, this study attempted to discover grandparents' involvement toward their grandchildren's English language learning in elementary school. This study attempted to answer the question: In what ways are the grandparents involved in their grandchildren's English language learning? To answer the research question three pair of grandchildren and grandmothers were interviewed. The research reveals that the grandmothers were involved in their grandchildren's English language learning by monitoring, facilitating, and giving assistance to themen_US
