Hubungan antara Locus of Control dengan School Well-Being pada Siswa-Siswi SMA Sedes Sapientiae Bedono

Abstract

Sekolah merupakan sebuah lembaga yang dimana bertujuan untuk mendidik siswa-siswi serta memberikan nilai yang penting untuk kehidupan di masa depan. Dengan adanya fasilitas-fasilitas yang disediakan oleh sekolah, siswa-siswi bisa merasa sejahtera karena adanya dukungan untuk mereka berkembang dan bertumbuh dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara locus of control dengan school well-being pada siswa SMA Sedes Sapientiae Bedono. Partisipan pada penelitian sebanyak 257 siswa-siswi yang terdiri dari kelas XXII SMA Sedes Sapientiae Bedono. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan 2 alat ukut utama yaitu skala locus of control dan skala school wellbeing. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif signifikan antara locus of control dengan school well-being pada siswa-siswi SMA Sedes Sapientiae Bedono. Selain itu, dengan hubungan positif signifikan ini dapat diartikan pula bahwa locus of control yang dimiliki oleh siswa-siswi SMA Sedes Sapientiae Bedono berada pada tingkat yang baik maka school well-being yang dimiliki siswa-siswi juga positif.

School is an institution that aims to educate students and provide important values for future life. With the facilities provided by the school, students can feel prosperous because there is support for them to develop and grow well. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between locus of control and school well-being in Sedes Sapientiae Bedono High School students. The participants in the study were 257 students consisting of classes X-XII of Sedes Sapientiae Bedono High School. This study uses quantitative research methods with 2 main measuring tools, namely the locus of control scale and the school well-being scale. The results of this study indicate a significant positive relationship between locus of control and school well-being in students of Sedes Sapientiae Bedono High School. In addition, with this significant positive relationship, it can also be interpreted that the locus of control possessed by Sedes Sapientiae Bedono High School students is at a good level, so the school well-being of students is also positive.
