Based on a survey conducted by the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) which was released in 2019, Indonesia is ranked 62nd out of 70 countries, or in the bottom 10 countries with low literacy levels. Based on this, the Indonesian Government is promoting the school literacy movement (GLS), which is a comprehensive effort to turn schools into learning organizations whose citizens are lifelong literate through community involvement. The aim of this research is to evaluate the reading literacy movement program at SD Negeri 1 Kedungjati. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research design. The model used in the research is the Goal Free Evaluation model so that researchers are not focused on the specific goals of the program being evaluated. This research uses data collection techniques, namely document study, observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this research uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis technique, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions by presenting the data in the form of descriptive text. Based on the research results, it shows that the implementation of the reading literacy movement has gone well and has had a positive impact even though the implementation has not been evenly distributed across all classes. This research can be used as a reference in increasing knowledge about evaluating school literacy movement programs so that the program can be continued or stopped. |
