Title: Perbedaan Model Pembelajaran Role Playing Dan Story Telling Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berbicara Pada Siswa Kelas V Di Sd Negeri Gugus Sultan Agung

Abstract: The improvement of speaking skills in students is influenced by the learning model provided. The right learning model is needed so that students are more enthusiastic in following the learning process. Several types of learning processes that can be applied in an effort to improve students' speaking skills are Role Playing and Story Telling learning models. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences between Role Playing and Story Telling learning models. This study used Experiment Design research with the Nonequivalent Multiple-Group Design type and one-group posttest design type with the research subjects being grade 5 students of SD Negeri Gugus Sultan Agung, Then the population and sample in this study were SD Negeri Gugus Sultan Agung in all grade V students at SD Negeri Ledok 01, SD Negeri Ledok 05 and SD Negeri Ledok 06 in Salatiga. The posttest results of the control class got an average score of 35.74 and the experimental class got a score of 37.29. The normality results were obtained from the posttest with a Sig. value of 0.200 in the control class, while in the experimental class, the posttest with a Sig. value of 0.30. The significance value of the two classes obtained results > 0.05. The results of the t-test of the control class and the experimental class were 0.000. Because the significance result was 0.000, it can be stated that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant difference in the application of the Role Playing and Story Telling learning models on speaking skills in grade V students of SD Negeri Gugus Sultan Agung. Peningkatan keterampilan berbicara pada peserta didik dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran yang diberikan. Model pembelajaran yang tepat diperlukan agar peserta didik lebih antusias dalam mengikuti proses belajar. Beberapa jenis proses pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan dalam upaya peningkatan keterampilan berbicara peserta didik yaitu model pembelajaran Role Playing dan Story telling. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan model pembelajaran Role Playing dan Story Telling. Adapun dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian Experiment Design dengan tipe Nonequivalent Multiple-Group Design dan jenis one-group posttest design dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas 5 SD Negri Gugus Sultan Agung, Kemudian pada populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah SD Negri Gugus Sultan Agung pada seluruh peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri Ledok 01, SD Negeri Ledok 05 dan SD Negeri Ledok 06 di Salatiga. Hasil posttest kelas kontrol mendapat nilai rata-rata 35,74 dan kelas eksperimen mendapat nilai 37,29. Hasil normalitas diperoleh dari posttest dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0.200 pada kelas kontrol, sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen, posttest dengan nilai Sig. sebesar 0,30. Nilai signifikasi kedua kelas tersebut mendapatkan hasil > 0,05. Hasil uji t kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen 0,000. Dikarenakan hasil signifikansi 0,000 maka dapat dinyatakan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang artinya adanya perbedaan yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran Role Playing dan Story Telling terhadap keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas V SD Negri Gugus Sultan Agung.
