Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Problem Solving terhadap Tingkat Pemahaman Angka Matematika Kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian yang akan penulis gunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuantitatif untuk merangkum, mengkaji, dan menganalisis beberapa penelitian yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Problem Solving terhadap Tingkat Pemahaman Angka Matematika Kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang dimiliki model pembelajaran inovatif terhadap pemahaman matematika kelas III sekolah dasar. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai sig sebesar 0,246 > 0,05 pada model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,246 > 0,05 pada model pembelajaran Problem Solving. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap pemahaman matematika kelas III sekolah dasar, sedangkan model pembelajaran Problem Solving memiliki pengaruh terhadap pemahaman matematika kelas III sekolah dasar. Model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dikatakan lebih efektif karena memiliki jumlah rata rata hasil post test yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan model pembelajaran Problem Solving, yaitu 123,33 pada model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan 112,78 pada model pembelajaran Problem Solving.
This research aims to measure the level of effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving Learning Model on the Level of Understanding of Mathematical Figures for Class III Elementary School. The research that the author will use is experimental research methods . This research design uses quantitative experimental methods to summarize, review, and analyze several studies that use Problem Based Learning and Problem Solving learning models on the Level of Understanding of Mathematics in Class III of Elementary School. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that there are differences in the influence that an innovative learning model has on understanding mathematics in class III elementary school. It can be seen from the sig value of 0.246 > 0.05 in the Problem Based Learning learning model, and the significance value of 0.246 > 0.05 in the Problem Solving learning model. Thus, the Problem Based Learning learning model has no influence on understanding mathematics in class III elementary school, while the Problem Solving learning model has an influence on understanding mathematics in class III elementary school. The Problem Based Learning learning model is said to be more effective because it has a higher average number of post test results than the Problem Solving learning model, namely 123.33 in the Problem Based Learning learning model and 112.78 in the Problem Solving learning model.
