The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between hope and resilience in adolescent victims of the Mount Sinabung eruption. This research used a non-probability sampling technique, namely quota sampling, involving research subjects totaling 52 teenage victims of the Mount Sinabung eruption. Data collection was carried out using the Connor-Davidson Scale (CD-RISC) to measure resilience and the hope scale to measure hope. Data analysis uses Spearman's product moment correlation. The analysis results show a correlation coefficient of 0.523 with a p value of 0.000 (p<0.05). These findings indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between hope and resilience in adolescent victims of the Mount Sinabung eruption. In other words, the higher the level of hope of teenagers, the higher their resilience. Conversely, low levels of hope correlate with low levels of resilience. |
