Pseuderanthemum is a new medicinal plant belonging to the Acanlhaceae family. In Manado, Pseuderanthemum accuminatissimum leaves are used as a traditional medicine for treating cancer. The effects of 2,4 D on callus culture were studied to assess its influence on growth of callus of P. accuminatissimum. The callus regeneration of P. accuminatissimum were established by removing young leaves as source explants and growing the explants in callus culture media MS with treatment 2,4D. The concentrations of2,4D used as treatments were 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 mg/L. Measured parameters were morphology, fresh and dry weight of callus. Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Turkey test (p=95%). The results showed that the treatments of 2,4D were significantly influenced the growth of callus of P. accuminatissimum. The highest of fresh and dry weight callus?, accuminatissimum i.e. 0,482 g in wet and 0,066 g in dry was obtained by addition of 1.0 mg/L 2,4 D on MS mediaen_US
