Abstract: | Ibu mengalami perubahan fisik dan emosional selama kehamilan hingga
kepercayaan diri ibu pasca melahirkan.
Verbal bullying berisiko menurunkan rasa percaya
diri dan memicu sindrom baby blues. Mothers experience physical and emotional changes during pregnancy and postpartum, such as an enlarged abdomen, which can lower self-confidence. This study aims to analyze the impact of verbal bullying on postpartum mothers' self-confidence. The research employs a correlational quantitative method to examine the relationship between two variables. The sample consists of 233 postpartum mothers across Indonesia, selected using non-probability sampling with the accidental sampling method. The measurement tools include a 9-item verbal bullying scale and a 32-item self-confidence scale, both using a Likert scale. Data were collected using the Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire (OBVQ) and the Self-Confidence Scale (SCS). The influence of verbal bullying on self-confidence was found to be 0.534 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect. Researchers can explore specific factors related to verbal bullying and self-confidence in postpartum mothers in certain regions. Verbal bullying poses a risk of lowering self-confidence and triggering baby blues syndrome. |
