Abstract: | Degradasi lahan di Kabupaten Semarang terutama lahan bekas pertanaman jahe menjadi faktor penurunan produksi hasil tani. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui sejauh mana lahan penelitian mengalami kerusakan, untuk dilakukan evaluasi dan pembenahan lahan berkelanjutan. Metode dilakukan secara eksploratif dengan penentuan sampel melalui purposive sampling. Penentuan sampel dilakukan pada 20 titik sebaran sampel yang dianalisis melalui pengamatan lapangan dan uji laboratorium. Teknik analisis data didasarkan pada indikator kriteria baku kerusakan lahan dari Peraturan Kementerian Negara Lingkungan Hidup No 7 Tahun 2000 dan 2009. Hasil analisis didapatkan hasil bahwa 19 titik sampel mengalami rusak ringan pada parameter DHL dan redoks tanah, 1 titik sampel mengalami rusak sedang pada DHL, redoks, pH tanah, dan fraksi tanah. Akumulasi skoring seluruh lahan bekas pertanaman jahe termasuk rusak ringan. Evaluasi dan saran yang diberikan untuk mengatasi tingkat kerusakan lahan dengan melakukan ameliorasi menggunakan kapur dolomit dan pupuk organik untuk mencegah kerusakan lahan berkelanjutan. Land degradation in Semarang Regency, particularly on former ginger cultivation areas, has become a significant factor in the decline of agricultural production. This study aims to assess the extent of land degradation and provide an evaluation for sustainable land rehabilitation. The research was conducted exploratively, with samples selected using purposive sampling at 20 points. The samples were analyzed through field observations and laboratory tests. Data analysis was based on the standard criteria for land degradation outlined in the Ministry of Environment Regulations No. 7 of 2000 and 2009. The results showed that 19 sample points experienced slight damage based on electrical conductivity (EC) and soil redox parameters, while one sample point showed moderate damage based on EC, redox potential, soil pH, and soil fractions. The overall scoring indicated that former ginger cultivation areas were classified as slightly degraded. Recommendations to address land degradation include amelioration using dolomite lime and organic fertilizers to prevent further degradation and ensure sustainable land management. |
