Abstract: Kasus GTP yang diangkat melaporkan tentang seorang Bapak bernama DK.
The GTP case raised reports on a man named DK. DK's case was raised because even though DK has a GTP condition that causes deformities in the body parts, namely legs and hands, DK still has a strong motivation to live, is active in participating in social activities and has a positive view of his disease. DK first suffered from gout at the age of 22 and developed GTP at the age of 30. DK's topus appeared on the joints of the feet and hands until deformity. 7 years ago DK's topus ruptured and DK independently treated his wound because in his confession DK had to move from one hospital to another without treatment. DK's treatment is taking allopurinol, dexamethasone, and piroxicam. The results of DK's clinical chemistry showed that DK's uric acid and blood pressure were high while HDL levels were low. Since being sick with GTP, DK has only consumed spinach and kale once a month and does not consume beef. DK more often consumes fish. DK has stopped consuming alcohol but still smokes. DK is still active in participating in social activities such as going to church and making special shoes so he can still go to church. DK has a positive perception, he has hope to recover and be able to work. The wife took care of DK when he was hospitalized by cleaning DK's body so that he could rest comfortably. Residents of Tara Tara Lingkungan 3 also invite DK in activities such as mutual cooperation.
