This study aims to analyze the business model of Volka Moka, a local coffee shop in Salatiga, using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Empathy Map approaches. The increase in coffee consumption in Indonesia has driven the growth of coffee shop businesses, including in Salatiga, where coffee shops are increasingly trending for young people and adults. Volka Moka was chosen as the object of research because of itssuccess in surviving in a non-strategic location, which indicates an effective business strategy. This study uses a qualitative method with in-depth interviews and observations to collect data. The results of the study indicate that Volka Moka's business model can be improved by better understanding consumer behavior and needs through the use of Empathy Map, which in turn will help to develop a BMC that is more responsive to the market. This study provides insight for coffee shop entrepreneurs in Salatiga and contributes to the development of entrepreneurship and business science in Indonesia. |
