Abstract: Problems in this study were students think that mathematics is difficult and scary, so make students lazy and less active in following the teaching and learning process. In order to improve the perception of students toward mathematics, mathematics learning should appeal to students one using cooperative learning model Make A Match. The purpose to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning model Make A Match on learning outcomes math class VII student of SMP Negeri 7 Salatiga. Types of research used in this study is quasi-experimental. Data analysis using the t test, t is the value of the results obtained with significance 0.047 <0.05. In addition, the results showed that the learning outcomes of students who are taught with cooperative learning model Make A Match is higher than with conventional learning models. This case, the average is 71.34 and 79.75. Difference in learning outcomes indicated by N Gain between students taught with cooperative learning model Make A Match with conventional learning models. This, indicated by N Gain of 0.46 to 0.23 with the medium category and the low category. It can be concluded that cooperative learning model Make A Match effective mathematics learning outcomes.
