Getasan Subdistrict, Semarang Regency, is an area that has the potential for critical land due to topographic factors, as well as high erosion. The purpose of this study is to analyze a critical land in Getasan Subdistrict with a geographic information system (GIS) approach and supervised classification method. The method used includes spatial analysis of land cover parameters, slope, erosion and forest area functions. The results showed that most of the Getasan area is in the category of somewhat critical 2803.21 ha), then potentially critical (2103.54 ha) the third is not critical (1521.64 ha), the fourth is critical (85.51 ha), and very critical (18.79 ha), especially in areas with high slope and erosion rate. The main factors are high slope and significant erosion rates. Rehabilitation efforts through soil and water conservation programs, reforestation, and the application of sustainable agricultural practices are needed to reduce the impact of land degradation. The results of this study are expected to serve as a basis for more sustainable land management planning in Getasan Sub-district. |
