Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh social media marketing terhadap purchase intention dengan brand image dan brand awareness sebagai variabel mediasi. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat pengguna media sosial dengan rentang usia 19 – 35 tahun di kota Salatiga. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan pengambilan sampel sebanyak 156. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa social media marketing tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap purchase intention; social media marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap brand image dan brand awareness; brand image dan brand awareness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap purchase intention; brand image dan brand awareness mampu memediasi hubungan antara social media marketing terhadap purchase intention. This study aims to examine the effect of social media marketing on purchase intention with brand image and brand awareness as mediating variables. The population of this study are social media users with an age range of 19 - 35 years in Salatiga city. The sample technique used was purposive sampling with a sample size of 156. The results showed that social media marketing has no direct effect on purchase intention; social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on brand image and brand awareness; brand image and brand awareness have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention; brand image and brand awareness are able to mediate the relationship between social media marketing and purchase intention. |
