Abstract: | This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the app lica tion o f th e picture and picture learning model supported by visual media. This learning model was impleme nte d to address the low interest and participation of students in mathematics lessons in the fir s t g r a de a t SD Negeri 2 Tlogolele. The study employed a qualitative approach through observations and interviews with the class teacher. The results indicate that the use of the pictu re a nd p ictu re m od el effectively enhances students' interest, focus, and comprehension of mathematical concepts . Th e u s e of visual media helps students grasp abstract mathematical ideas and promotes a c tive e ng age me nt during the learning process. Therefore, the picture and picture model proves to be an effective strategy to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan mod el pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media gambar. Model pembelajaran ini diterapkan untuk mengatasi rendahnya minat dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas I SD Negeri 2 Tlogolele. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara kepada guru kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan mode l p ictu re a n d picture mampu meningkatkan minat, fokus, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi matematika. Penggunaan media gambar mempermudah siswa memahami konsep matematika abstrak dan meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif mereka selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Dengan demikia n, model picture and picture terbukti efektif sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran matematika. |
