Sistem Smart Home Berbasis IoT Menggunakan Home Asisstant dan ESP32 untuk Monitoring dan Kontrol Perangkat Rumah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang prototipe sistem smart home berbasis IoT dengan memanfaatkan Home Assistant sebagai sistem operasi dan aplikasi Android untuk memonitor suhu, kelembapan, serta mengontrol lampu, kipas, dan pintu otomatis. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perancangan hardware (ESP32, sensor DHT11, MQ-2, PIR, LDR, RFID-RC522) dan integrasi software melalui platform Home Assistant. Pengujian dilakukan selama 4 hari dengan interval pengambilan data 3 kali sehari. Hasil menunjukkan akurasi 100% pada kontrol lampu dan kipas, error rate sensor DHT11 sebesar 1,28%, serta deteksi gas oleh MQ-2 dengan error rate 1,15%. Sistem kontrol pintu RFID berfungsi optimal dengan respons cepat. Simpulan penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi Home Assistant dengan ESP32 mampu menciptakan sistem smart home yang handal dan akurat.

This research aims to design a prototype of an IoT-based smart home system by utilizing Home Assistant as an operating system and an Android application to monitor temperature, humidity, and control lights, fans and automatic doors. The methods used include hardware design (ESP32, DHT11 sensor, MQ-2, PIR, LDR, RFID-RC522) and software integration through the Home Assistant platform. Testing was carried out for 4 days with a data collection interval of 3 times a day. The results showed 100% accuracy in controlling lights and fans, a DHT11 sensor error rate of 1.28%, and gas detection by MQ-2 with an error rate of 1.15%. The RFID door control system functions optimally with a fast response. The conclusion of this study proves that the integration of Home Assistant with ESP32 is able to create a reliable and accurate smart home system.
