Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Ekspor di Jawa Barat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of West Java, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of export destination countries, geographical distance, and inflation on the export value of West Java during 2013–2023. The method employed is Multilevel Mixed-Effect Linear Regression to accommodate random effects across export destination countries. The results indicate that GRDP and GDP of destination countries have a significant positive effect on West Java's exports, while distance has a negative effect. Inflation also shows a positive effect, likely due to Indonesia’s relatively low and stable inflation rate during the study period. The coefficient of determination of 60.06% indicates that the independent variables substantially explain the variation in West Java’s export values. These findings provide a basis for policymakers to enhance exports by maintaining economic stability and supporting regional production growth.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Jawa Barat, Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) negara tujuan ekspor, jarak geografis, dan inflasi terhadap nilai ekspor Jawa Barat pada periode 2013–2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah Multilevel Mixed-Effect Linear Regression untuk mengakomodasi efek acak antar negara tujuan ekspor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PDRB dan PDB negara tujuan memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap ekspor Jawa Barat, sedangkan jarak berpengaruh negatif. Inflasi juga berpengaruh positif, yang diduga karena tingkat inflasi Indonesia selama periode penelitian relatif rendah dan stabil. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 60,06% menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas yang diteliti mampu menjelaskan perubahan nilai ekspor Jawa Barat secara substansial. Temuan ini memberikan dasar bagi pemerintah dalam merumuskan kebijakan untuk meningkatkan ekspor dengan menjaga stabilitas ekonomi dan mendukung peningkatan produksi daerah.
