Abstract: | Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit degeneratif dimana terjadinya peningkatan tekanan darah yang sering dialami lansia. Lansia sangat rentan karena terjadi penurunan fungsi tubuh. Hipertensijika dibiarkan akan membuatjantung bekerja lebih keras sehingga tekanan darah akan terus meningkat. Jika dibiarkan menimbulkan komplikasi seperti gagal jantung dan stroke. Tujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk, manfaat, kandungan pangan lokal. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan literature review yaitu suatu kajian ilmiah yang memiliki fokus pada satu topik tertentu. Data penelitian di hasilkan dari artikel jurnal yang diakses melalui internet seperti Google Scholar, DOAJ (Directory ofOpen Access Journals) dan Garba Rujukan Digital. Hasil pencarian mendapatkan 20 jurnal yang sesuai dengan topik penelitian. Hasil dari review 20 jurnal mendapatkan informasi tentang jenis, kandungan dan manfaat yang terdapat dalam pangan lokal. Jenis pangan lokal berupa buah dan sayur seperti, ketimun, tomat, labu kuning, buah naga merah, belimbing, pepaya, melon. Manfaat dalam mengkonsumsi bahan pangan lokal yang mengandung kaya akan serat, vitamin, mineral dan fitokimia membantu menurunkan tekanan darah. Kandungan yang terdapat di dalamnya seperti kalsium, flavonoid, eugenol, manitol, vitamin A,B,C, fenolat, selenium dan isoflavone.Kesimpulan pangan lokal mengandung vitamin, mineral dan fitokimia yang bermanfaat dalam menurunkan tekanan darah Hypertension is one ofthe degenerative diseases where there is an increase in blood pressure that is often experienced by the elderly. The elderly are very vulnerable because there is a decrease in bodyfunction. Hypertension ifleft untreated will make the heart work harder so that bloodpressure will continue to increase. Ifleft untreated, it can cause complications such as heartfailure and stroke. The purpose ofdescribing the form, benefits, and content of localfood. This research method uses a literature review, which is a scientific study thatfocuses on a particular topic. Research data is generated from journal articles accessed via the internet such as Google Scholar, DOAJ (Directory ofOpen Access Journals) and Garba Digital Reference. The search results obtained 20journals thal match the research [opic. The results ofthe review of c 20 journals obtained information about the types, content and benefits contained in localfood. Types oflocalfood in theform Q/fruits and vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes, pumpkin, red dragon fruit, star frui/, papaya, melon. The benefits of consuming local food ingredients that are rich in jiber, vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals help lower blood pressure The contents contained in it such as calcium, flavonoids, eugenol, mannitol, vitamins A, B, C, phenolics, selenium and isoflavones.
