Abstract: Land evaluation to know land suitability for agriculture activities is an important step before the farmer does activity of land cultivation. Land evaluation is the activities to determine value of land for use any activities, examples for the agriculture activities. The results of land evaluation indicate that the agriculture area is suitable for increasing crop production. The land evaluation can show the availability of water resources, sloping lands, stoniness or rockiness, soil texture, soil deep, permeability, drainage, and some poor soil property. Rainfall and air temperature data are the climatic components, which determine land suitability for upland food crop. Based on the land evaluation data and climatic parameters farmer can determine the land suitability classes for the development of land crop. The land suitability classes are highly suitable (S1), moderately suitable (S2), and marginally suitable (S3), and not suitable (N)
