Abstract: | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh keterlibatan kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi polisi di Kepolisian Resor Ende. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah polisi di Polres Ende sebanyak 300 orang. Sampelnya sebanyak 75 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik proportionate random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala sebagai alat pengumpulan data utama. Skala keterlibatan kerja dikemukakan oleh Kanungo (1982), skala kepuasan kerja dikemukan oleh Celluci dan DeVries (1978) yang diadopsi oleh Koh dan Boo (2001) dalam penelitiannya, dan skala komitmen organisasi yang dikembangkan oleh Allen & Meyer (1990). Analisis aitem dihitung melalui korelasi tiap butir atau item dengan item total (corrected item-total correlation) sedangkan reliabilitas diukur dengan menggunakan teknik cronbach alpha. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini memenuhi syarat valid dan reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis regresi berganda ditemukan koefisien determinasi (R2) = 0,362 dengan nilai F=20,392, ρ=0,000 (ρ˂0,05). Artinya bahwa terdapat pengaruh keterlibatan kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi polisi di Polres Ende. 36,2% variasi dari komitmen organisasi dapat dijelaskan oleh keterlibatan kerja dan kepuasan kerja, sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi keterlibatan kerja dan kepuasan kerja maka akan semakin tinggi pula komitmen organisasi polisi. The purpose of this study was determine the significance of the effect of job involvement and job satisfaction on organizational police commitment in Ende police. The population in this study was the police at the police station in Ende as much as 300 people. Sample as many as 75 people with the sampling technique proportionate random sampling technique. This study used the scale as the main data collection tool. The scale of job involvement proposed by Kanungo (1982), job saticfaction scales raised by Celluci and DaVries (1978) adopted by Koh and Boo (2001) in his search, and organizational commitment scale developed by Allen and Meyer (1990). Analysis item calculated throught the correlation of each item or by total item (corrected item-total correlation) while reliability was measured using Cronbach alpha technique. The instrument used in this study qualify valid and reliable. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis found the coefficient of determination (R²)=0,362 with a value of F=20,392, p = 0,000 (ρ ˂ 0.05). This means that there is the influence of the job involvement and job satisfaction on organizational commitment Ende police at the police station. 36,2% of the variation can be explained by organizational commitment and job involvement job satisfaction, the rest is influenced by other variables not examined. This study shows that the higher the job involvement and job satisfaction then the higher the organizational commitment of police. |
