Abstract: | Stres merupakan tekanan fisiologis, psikologis yang di rasakan individu yang mengakibatkan dirinya terancam, baik secara fisik maupun mental. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah tingkat kompetensi teknologi dan beban kerja memberikan dampak terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui techno stress sebagai intervening variable nya pada karyawan. Studi dilakukan pada sejumlah 104 orang karyawan yang bekerja pada bagian Production dan Engineering pada perusahaan multinasional yang menggunakan peralatan teknologi otomasi dalam operasionalnya yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equotion Modelling, menggunakan software. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa beban kerja & kompetensi teknologi otomasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Technostres. Selain itu, Technostress juga ditemukan berperan sebagai intervening variable dalam hubungan antara pengaruh beban kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Stress is a physiological, psychological pressure perceived by an individual placing himself/herself in a risk, both physically and mentally. The research problems of this research are to find out whether the level of technology competency and workload has an impact on employee performance through techno stress as an intervening variable. The respondents of this study are 104 people whom work at Production and Engineering department of a multinational company using automation technology equipment in operation. A technique of data collection was done by using questioner and interviews. Data was analysed using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling ) approach. From the research it can be concluded that there is significant influence of the workload and competence level of automation technology to Techno stress and a significant influence on the correlation between workload influence to employee performance which a Techno stress acts as an intervening variable in the relationship. |
