Abstract: | Konflik yang terjadi karena adanya tumpang tindih antara urusan pekerjaan dan rumah tangga merupakan topic yang penting di lingkungan organisasi dewasa ini. Konflik pekerjaan-keluarga (Work Family Conflict) dapat didefinisikan sebagai bentuk konflik peran di mana tuntutan pekerjaan dan keluarga tidak dapat disejajarkan dalam beberapa hal. Beberapa penelitian terdahulu menyebutkan bahwa Family Conflict (WFC) bisa berdampak negative bagi individu terutama pada perempuan di mana perempuan takut untuk berkarir lebih baik. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh kepada Work Family Conflict (WFC) dan dampaknya terhadap Fear Of Success (FOS) (Studi Terhadap Wanita Karir di Kota Kupang Nusa Tenggara Timur). Sampel yang di ambil untuk menjadi subjek penelitian adalah Pegawai Negeri Sipil di beberapa Instasi dan Dinas di kota Kupang sebanyak 134 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik penyebaran dan pengumpulan kuisioner. Setelah data di dapat, maka dilakukan tabulasi data kuisioner dan dilakukan perhitungan dengan menggunakan program Lisrel 8.8. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1). Dukungan Organisasi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap terjadinya work family conflict, 2). Dukungan Sosial berpengeruh dan signifikan terhadap terjadinya work family conflict. 3). Ada pengaruh Self Efficacy terhadap Work family conflict. 4) Work family conflict berpengaruh terhadap Fear of Success. Conflict that occurs due to crash between work and family is an important topic for organization nowdays. Work Family Conflict can be defined as role conflict when job demands and family demands can not be paralled in some conditions. Several previous studies mentioned that Work Family Conflict (WFC) could impact negatively to the individual, especially in women for she suffers from fear to become better in her career. This research aims to determine the factors that affect the Work Family Conflict (WFC) and its impact on Fear Of Success (FOS) (Study of Women Against Career in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara). Samples taken to be the subject of study is Civil Servant in some agencies and offices in Kupang as many as 134 respondents. This study uses quantitative method with techniques for distributing and collecting questionnaires. Once the data has been collected, then the writer do tabulation of questionnaire data and performed calculations using the program Lisrel 8.8. The results obtained from this study are as follows: 1). Organizational support has no influence on the occurrence of work family conflict, 2). Social support affects significantly to the work family conflict. 3). There is the influence of Self Efficacy on Work family conflict. 4) Work family conflict affect the Fear of Success. |
