Abstract: Ritual sacrifice is an essential element in every religion. There are two parts in which the giver of the sacrifice ritual (human) and the victim receiver (God). Sacrifice is an act of religious ritual performed either by individual or group who have a low and dirty status before God or gods or other powers. The human sacrifice was commonly practiced by many religions and beliefs in the world, such as Indian tribe in Virginia, Mintira tribe in Malay Peninsula, Sawi tribe in Irian Jaya and Assyrian religion. Child sacrifice usually offered the life of a child, both men and women. The book of II Kings 21:6 described sinful actions of the king Manasseh namely sacrificing his son into the fire. The author of the source DH in Dtr2 was considered The kings activity as the soured of the fail of southern kingdom. Manasseh regarded as criminals and rebel. After a sincerely studying of the text, I come to a conclusion that ritual sacrifice of children by the king Manasseh is a strategy of reconciliation between Judah and Assyria that Judah was not destroyed by the Assyrians. The son of Manasseh were sacrificed to the gods of Assyria is mentioned as the Son of Peace. Manasseh sought a best solution in order to keep the peace and security of the nation of Judah. In my opinion, the nature of the king Manasseh's action is motivated by a sense of concern and love for his nation of Judah
