Abstract: Experts said that attitude toward learning English as a foreign language is a very important factor which can determine someone's success in learning language. The purpose of this study was to investigate students' attitude toward learning English in SD N Sumogawe 04. The participants were 39 students: 22 fifth grade and 17 sixth grade students. A questionnaire was used to get the data about students' attitude toward learning English. Based on the data, the result shows that most of the students in SD N Sumogawe 04 have positive attitude toward learning English. Only a few students showed negative attitude. They realized that English is useful for them and they will continue to learn English. Although the students showed positive attitude, the students still need support from the teacher.
