Abstract: | Suatu proses menghasilkan produk, terdiri dari aktivitas dari tahap input, pemrosesan, samapi penyaluran output kepada konsumen akhir. Aktivitas-aktivitas tersebut melibatkan berbagai operator dalam rantai nilai, yaitu penyedia masukan, produsen, dan distributor.Skripsi ini meneliti bisnis ekspor kopra dari Sulawesi Utara. Operator rantai nilai komoditas kopra dari Sulawesi Utara dimulai dari petani kopra, pedagang pengepul, dan perusahaan pengolahan PT.Cargill Indonesia – Copra Crushing Plant Amurang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan distribusi nilai tambah dan daya tawar yang dihasilkan masing – masing operator rantai nilai tidak berimbang. Petani kopra menjadi pihak yang sangat dirugikan. Petani menerima pendapatan yang paling sedikit. Selain itu, petani juga memiliki daya tawar yang rendah. Temuan penelitian ini adalah perlu adanya pengembangan potensi petani yang didukung oleh lembaga – lembaga pemerintah yang terkait yang berorientasi pada peningkatan produktivitas dan pengembangan produk. Usulan kebijakan pengembangan potensi petani tersebut ditujukan untuk meratakan nilai tambah dan daya tawar diantara operator rantai nilai A process to produce a product consist of activities from input, processing, to output distribution level toward its end consumers. These activities involve many operators in value chain, such as suppliers, producers, and distributors. This research examines business export copra from North Sulawesi. The value chain operators of copra commodity from North Sulawesi involve copra farmers, collectors, and producer company PT.Cargill Indonesia – Copra Crushing Plant Amurang. The result of this research show that distribution of value added and bargaining power that are produced by each value chain operators are not balanced. Copra farmers be aggrieved parties. Farmers receive the least amount of income. In addition, farmers also have low bargaining power. The findings of this research is needed the upgrading potential of farmers, which supported by relevant government institutions, that concern toward increased productivity and development product. This recommendation are proposed to equalize the value added and bargaining power between the value chain operators. |
