Abstract: | The aim of this study is to evaluate PT Apac Inti Corpora purpose of using expatriate, stage, and limitation in transferring knowledge and technology from them to the apprentice. The research used descriptive quantitative data. The result was obtained from thorough interview process with Human resources department staffs of PT Apac Inti Corpora, expatriate and also apprentice. The result showed that the appearance of expatriate can increase thecompany performance, increasing the knowledge of apprentice and also job networking. This study found that in each stage of knowledge and technology transfer, the speed of its process would be different. It was depended on the tasks in every section. The difficulties faced in this process were the problem of communication, culture, point of view, consistency, and delayed machine order. |
