Abstract: The cold plasma treatment on the derivative of liquid chlorophyll (chlorophyllin) has been done. The cold plasma was generated using an atmospheric corona discharge system at 15 kV. Samples consist of two groups, that are samples with cold plasma treatment and that without cold plasma treatment or a control sample. The samples with plasma treatment are samples that treated by cold plasma in 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 minutes. The results of the spectrophotometer UV-Vis showed that the cold plasma treatment degraded the deri'l8tive of liquid chlorophyll. The normalisation graphic of the spectra trend of each samples, however, showed that all samples were relatively identical in trend of spectra. lt showed that no novel compound resulted from the degradation
