Potensi Pemanfaatan Facebook sebagai Media Pembelajaran bagi Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (Studi Kasus SMA Negeri 1 Salatiga)

Abstract

The research aims to explain: how big is the potential use of Facebookas learning media for students of SMA Negeri 1 Salatiga. The research design is using descriptive approach. Variables in the research are respondent, Facebookaccessing activity, and potential Facebookas learning media. The result of the research can be concluded that: 1) The purposes in accessing Facebook are mostly to entertain, play games or quiz, and chat with others; 2) Facebookas one of social media is potentially used as learning media; 3) The use of Facebookcan be said effective since it provides ease in conveying lesson material, kinds of information done at home and everytime.
