Abstract

Dalam perkembangan teknologi, penggunaan jaringan dengan menggunakan kabel mulai ditinggalkan karena banyak kendala yang ada, seperti hanya terbatas pada wilayah tertentu dan memerlukan biaya yang cukup mahal, sehingga muncul teknologi baru jaringan tanpa kabel (wireless). Wi-Fi atau Wireless Fidelity adalah salah satu teknologi yang terkenal yang menggunakan teknologi wireless.Modul USR-WIFI232-G adalah Wi-Fi dengan spesifikasi WiFi 802.11b/g/n, yang mempunyai dukungan mode kerja AP, STA, AP+STA dan Wi-Fi ini juga sangat membantu sistem embedded dalam berkomunikasi data tanpa kabel. Pada pedoman modul USR-WIFI232-G ini akan membahas cara membuat alat sampai penggunaan dari modul dengan mode Ad Hoc dan Infrastruktur(AP, AP+STA), maupun penggunaan AT Command yang dibahas dalam topik-topik pedoman praktikum dalam mata kuliah Jaringan Komputer.
