Abstract: The purpose of the research is to analyze the problems of magnetism on the national exam based on required concepts and student’s science generic skills. The analysis is limited to the issues in high school physics national exam in five years, 2010 until 2015. The research method uses descriptive analysis. The results showed that in the national exam requires initial capabilities vector concept and in science generic skills review found that the ability of mathematic modeling, logical consistency and causality dominate such questions
