Hubungan antara Adversity Quotient (AQ) dan Pola Asuh Demokratis (Authoritative) Orangtua dengan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas VII SMP Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga

Abstract

This study aims to determine wheter there is a relationship between adversity quotient and authoritative parenting style with mathematic learning outcomes in 7th class of Satya Wacana Christian Junior High School Salatiga. Type of research is a correlational. Subjects in this study were all students of 7th class of Satya Wacana Christian Junior High School Salatiga, totalling 76 students. Data was collected by questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the pearson’s product moment correlation and multiple correlation, calculation program with the help of SPSS 16.0 for windows.The result showed that: (1) There was no correlation between adversity quotient with mathematic learning outcomes in 7th class of Satya Wacana Christian Junior High School Salatiga. (2) There was no correlation between authoritative parenting style with mathematic learning outcomes in 7th class of Satya Wacana Christian Junior High School Salatiga. (3) The multiple correlation between adversity quotient and authoritative parenting style with mathematic learning outcomes in 7th class of Satya Wacana Christian Junior High School Salatiga also get result that three variables such there was no correlation significant. Value of R2 give impact by the percentage 0,2% against mathematic learning outcomes and the rest is 99,8% are other factors affecting mathematic learning outcomes in 7th class of Satya Wacana Christian Junior High School Salatiga.
