Abstract: | Garlic extract has been widely used as a pesticide plant, particularly in plant pest control but still a bit of research on plant diseases. Some research suggests garlic extracts have antifungal activity, antiviral, and antibacterial. Research to determine the effect of garlic extract on the of Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc. on synthetic media. Research conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Research Institute Sweeteners and Fiber, Malang Start Month April to June 2015. The study using completely randomized design with eight treatments were 0% (control); 1%; 2%; 3%; 4%; 5%; 6%; and Delsen 0.05% which is repeated three times. Each poured on PDA (Potato Dextrose Agar and Media PDB (Potato Dextrose Broth) separately and then Inkubasikan at room temperature. Observations included the development of fungal colonies, the percentage inhibition of dry weight fungal colonies and the number of sclerotia. The results showed that the extract garlic is able to inhibit the development of fungal colony growth up to 92.66%, at a concentration of 5%, inhibit fungal dry weight and number of sclerotia up to 75.14 %. |
