Analisis Fungsi Compute pada Private Cloud Computing dengan Model Layanan Infrastructure as a Service Menggunakan OpenStack

Abstract

Teknologi virtualisasi tingkat sistem operasi belum dapat menyediakan sebuah fungsi penggantian resource secara elastis dan on-demand. Teknologi cloud computing merupakan jawaban dari permasalahan tersebut, oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian terhadap teknologi cloud computing pada model layanan Infrastructure as a Service dengan menggunakan software cloud Openstack. Compute merupakan salah satu service didalam OpenStack yang berfungsi untuk melakukan manajemen terhadap instance. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis terhadap layanan compute untuk membuktikan elastisitas teknologi cloud computing.

Operating system-level virtualization technology has not been able to provide an elastic and on-demand resource changing function, an answer to that problem is a cloud computing technology. Therefore, a research is conducted in cloud computing in one of service model which is Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) by using OpenStack cloud software . Compute is one of services in OpenStack which is able to manage an instance. In this research an analysis has been made in compute service in order to prove the elasticity of cloud computing technology.
