Abstract: Conflicts in Indonesia rarely occurred in the border area. Instead, the border communities can run a social life with low conflict. Therefore a question such as why social harmonization could take place in the border communities Indonesia -Malaysia. Is important to be answered. This study used qualitative-descriptive method to carry out research on Social Harmonisation in the Indonesia -Malaysia border communities. From the results of research conducted in the months of April to June 2015 and April-June 2016 showed that the lives of the people in Indonesia-Malaysia border (especially in districts Jagoi Babang). In the context of national integration, they are able to tolerance and respect one another. Interactions of the citizens which are live side by side despite the different countries are evidences that they need each other. The main thing that makes them able to live in harmony is because they feel the family (kinship) as the Dayak Bidayuh descent. Local knowledge which is still running is Gawai ritual.
