IbM Kelompok Tani Lidah Buaya Sebagai Kegiatan Pemberdayaan Usaha Kecil di Kota Pekanbaru

Abstract

Cultivation of aloe vera in Pekanbaru city, grow up along with knowledge of society about the benefits of aloe vera plants for health. This condition has been proven by the formation of aloe vera farmer groups in Distric Rumbai Pesisir. The farmers of aloe vera make up small or micro group that cultivate the aloe vera plants and producing food with namely “crakers of aloe vera” and “tea of aloe vera”. Products are still packaged by plastic and do not have a brands. IbM program target to be achieved in developing products "crackers of aloe vera" and "tea of aloe vera" as a food souvenirs from Pekanbaru city. The activities IbM team : counseling about food products, packaging, promotion techniques, marketing and improve of production process by production techniques. The method used was counselling, training, monitoring and give help of machine flour mixing. The result outcome is a product that has been packahed and marketed in shops of food souvenirs and minimart. IbM activity indicator is the packaging with crakers of aloe vera and tea of aloe vera that can be marketed to the store or minimart and improvement of production process with the machine of flour mixing
