Komposisi Flora Mangrove di Pantai Sungai Gamta, Distrik Misool Barat, Kabupaten Raja Ampat

Abstract

Kabupaten Raja Ampat merupakan daerah pesisir yang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam yang cukup besar. Salah satu ciri perkembangan suatu daerah kabupaten atau kota adalah peningkatan jumlah penduduk yang relatif tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan daerah perkampungan. Pantai sungai Gamta merupakan kawasan konservasi cagar Alam Misool (84.000 ha berdasarkan SK Menhut No.716/Kpts-/Um/1992), sehingga diperlukan strategi yang tepat untuk menjamin kelestarian ekosistem mangrove. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan penelitian tentang komposisi flora mangrove. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui komposisi, kerapatan, dan frekuensi mangrove di Sungai Gamta. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian komposisi flora mangrove di pantai Sungai Gamta terdapat sepuluh jenis mangrove

Raja Ampat is a coatstal area that has the potential of natural resources which is quite large. One feature of the development of a district or city is an increase in the number of people who are relatively high when compared to the lush country side. Gamta river beach is a conservation area Misool Nature reserve (84.000 ha besed on the Ministry of Forestry decree 716/Kpts/Um/1992), so we need the right strategy to ensure the sustainability of the mangrove ecosystem. One of the activities that can be done is by doing research on the composition of mangrove flora. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition, density, and frequency of mangroves in river Gamta. Based on the results of research on the mangrove flora composition Gamta river shore there are ten types of mangrove.
