Siklus: komposisi kontemporer untuk ansambel gabungan

Abstract

Perkembangan musik pada masa kini telah sampai pada era musik kontemporer yang mengutamakan konsep bunyi dari bunyi itu sendiri. Musik kontemporer seringkali juga disebut sebagai musik proses. Siklus merupakan karya kontemporer untuk ansambel gabungan yang dihasilkan melalui penelitian dan dibuat berdasarkan teknik komposisi musik kontemporer. Berlandaskan fase kehidupan manusia dan berorientasi pada proses yang dialami, komposisi ini memiliki empat bagian yang mewakili empat masa penting proses hidup berawal dewasa hingga binasa. Sebagai musik proses, perubahan yang terjadi bersifat mikro dan butuh ketelitian tinggi untuk bisa mendeteksi perubahan yang ada dalam karya komposisi ini.

The development of music has now coming to an age of contemporary where the concept of sound surpases the sound itself in priority. Contemporary music are also known as the music of process/ process music. Siklus is a contemporary composition for mix ansambel which derived from the research and were made using the contemporary music composition technique. This composition consist of four section to represent the phase in human life cycle and their process of living from adulthood until death. As a music of process, this composition consist of micro changes and therefore high awareness in analysis are required to detect the changes
