Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan Self-Regulation Learning antara mahasiswa yang tinggal dengan orang tua dan mahasiswa yang tidak tinggal dengan orang tua (kost) di Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. Subjek dalam penelitian kuantitatif ini sebanyak 429 subjek. Variabel Self Regulation Learning diukur dengan skala Motivational Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) yang diadaptasi dari Pintrich & Groot (1990) yang disusun berdasarkan komponen-komponen self-regulation learning, yaitu metakognisi, motivasi, dan perilaku (dalam Zimmerman, 1989). Perbedaan Self-Regulation Learning antara mahasiswa yang tinggal dengan orang tua dan mahasiswa yang tidak tinggal dengan orang tua (kost) diuji menggunakan Independent Sample Test dan diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai t-Test sebesar 3.084 dengan signifikansi 0,002 atau p < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan Self-Regulation Learning antara mahasiswa yang tinggal dengan orang tua dan yang tidak tinggal dengan orang tua di Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. The purpose of this research is to examine the differences in Self-Regulation Learning between Satya Wacana Christian University Students who live with parents and do not live with parents (boarding house). There are 429 subjects in this quantitative research. A self-regulation learning variable is measured with a Motivational Strategies for Learning Questionnare (MSLQ) scale adapted from Pintrich & Groot (1990) based on three components of self-regulation learning, which are metacognition, motivation, and behavior (Zimmerman, 1989). The differences in self-regulation learning between students who live with parents and do not live with parents (boarding house) are examined using an independent sample test. The results reveal that the t-test value is 3.084 with a significance of 0.002 or p < 0.05, so that it can be concluded that there are differences in Self-Regulation Learning between Satya Wacana Christian University Students who live with parents and do not live with parents (boarding house). |
