Abstract: Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) is an approach that has developed to be the new process of second language learning. CLT also can be useful to teach grammar in EFL context in order to elevate learners’ competence in learning English grammar. This study aims to investigate the attitudes of the pre- service English teachers enrolled in English Language Education Program (PBI) in Satya Wacana Christian University, Indonesia, toward grammar teaching in CLT. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to analyze data obtained from questionnaires filled out by 90 participants. The result of this study indicates that most of pre-service English teachers had positive attitudes toward CLT in grammar teaching.
