Abstract: Recently, a number of researchers has done a research about textbook evaluation in ESP context (Purnomo, 2009; Tous & Maryam, 2014; Kazem & Fatemeh, 2014; Baleghizadeh & Rahimi, 2011), since textbook is important in teaching and learning because it required materials and knowledge between students and teachers (Sarem, Hamidi, and Mahmoudie, 2013). The aim of this study was to analyze whether the EAP textbook used by the students of Faculty of Economic and Business in Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga, Indonesia meet the students’ English language learning needs or not. The study was done by answering two research questions; first, what are English language learning needs of Economic Faculty students? Second, do the EAP textbook used in Economic Faculty meet the students’ needs? 25 themes which were related to Economic fields and four skills in English language (writing, reading, listening, speaking) were used on the questionnaire to find the students’ English language learning need. The result of the questionnaire revealed that speaking skill was the most needed by students. In this case, the result of the questionnaire was matched with the result of the EAP textbook analysis. Findings pointed out that there were several themes with the skills needed by the students were not provided in the textbook. And finally, finding reported that the contents of the EAP textbook used by the Economic and Business Faculty may be inappropriate to meet all students’ English language learning needs.
