Hubungan antara Parent Attachment dengan Regulasi Emosi Remaja di SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara parent attachment dengan regulasi emosi remaja di SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada remaja kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta yang masih mempunyai kedua orangtua/figur pengganti orangtua. Alat pengumpulan data berupa skala regulasi emosi yang disusun oleh Garnefski dan Kraaij (2007) dan skala father attachment serta mother attachment yang disusun oleh Armsden dan Greenberg (2009). Selanjutnya, hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara parent attachment dengan regulasi emosi remaja. Nilai korelasi (r) antara father attachment dan regulasi emosi adalah sebesar - 0,068 (p>0,05), sedangkan nilai korelasi (r) antara mother attachment dan regulasi emosi adalah -0,052 (p>0,05).

This research aims was to empirical examine the correlation between parent attachment with the emotion regulation of adolescence in 5 High School, Surakarta. Participants were adolescence at first grade in 5 High School, Surakarta who still have both of parents/figure that surrogate their parents. Data collection devices are the scale of emotion regulation compiled by Garnefski and Kraaij (2007) and the scale of father attachment as well as mother attachment compiled by Armsden and Greenberg (2009). The result of analysis of the data indicates that there is no correlation between parent attachment and adolescence emotion regulation. Result of the data show that the correlation (r) between father attachment and emotion regulation is -0,068 (p>0,05) and correlation (r) between mother attachment and emotion regulation is 0,052(p>0,05).
