Abstract: The aim of the present study is to see student-teachers’ perceptions towards Teaching Journal which is the requirements in Teaching Practicum Program in English Language Education Program at Faculty of Language and Arts, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. The data in this study were collected using Interview with 25 student-teachers who have taken Teaching Practicum Class at different secondary schools in Salatiga. The data showed that 20 out of 25 student-teachers were aware that writing Teaching Journal was helpful for them to be able to reflect and improve into their teaching performances. Meanwhile, 5 student-teachers stated that writing Teaching Journal was not necessary and are tiring. This study is hoped to be useful for educational practitioners especially student-teachers to raise their awareness of writing teaching journals in order to reflect and learn on their own mistakes and previous experiences in teaching.
